Welche Augencreme passt zu mir: Hyalove und Luxury Lift im Vergleich

Which eye cream is right for me: Hyalove and Luxury Lift compared

The skin around our eyes is truly special. It is thin, delicate, and sensitive. And often, the eye area reveals more quickly than any other part of the face how we are doing, how we sleep, and how we age. This is mainly because the skin under the eyes is three to five times thinner than the rest of the face! That's exactly why I'm so often asked: "Pia, which eye cream is the right one for my eye care?" And my honest answer is almost always: It's not about "better" or "worse," but about what your eye area currently needs. With the Hyalove Eye Cream and the Luxury Lift Eye Cream, we at Dr. Massing have developed two creams that focus on very different aspects. Both have been specially developed for the sensitive skin of the eye area, both are highly tolerable, but they work in different ways. In this post, I would like to explain the differences between our two eye creams. Calmly, understandably, and without marketing fluff. So you can make a choice that feels right for your eyes. Why the eye area needs special care The area around the eyes is significantly thinner than the rest of the facial skin. It has fewer sebaceous glands, dries out more quickly, and reacts more sensitively to external influences. It's no wonder, then, that dryness, fine lines, dark circles, puffiness, or first wrinkles often appear here. At the same time, the eye area is constantly in motion: we blink, laugh, squint. All of this leaves its mark. That's why specially developed eye care is so important: it must be gentle, intensely nourishing, and work exactly where the skin is particularly delicate. Two eye creams: two different approaches Both the Hyalove and Luxury Lift Eye Creams are designed to specifically support the skin around the eyes. However, they address different concerns. Hyalove Eye Cream: Focus on hydration, freshness, and balance The Hyalove Eye Cream was developed for skin conditions where moisture, plumping, and a fresh look are paramount. Many people know the feeling: the skin appears dry, perhaps a little dull, fine dry lines are visible, and dark circles or slight puffiness make the eyes look tired. This is where Hyalove comes in. The contained triple-hyaluronic acid complex intensively hydrates the skin. Hyaluronic acid molecules of different sizes help to bind moisture both on the surface and in deeper skin layers. The result is a visibly smoother, suppler texture in the eye area. The formula is supplemented by a bio-peptide that supports the skin structure and gently evens out fine lines. The effect is often quickly visible, especially on dry or sensitive skin. Thus, the cream works against dark circles and puffiness and ensures fresh, awake, and balanced eyes. Hyalove is therefore an eye care product that is particularly suitable if your eyes: lack moisture the skin is delicate and thin eye bags, dark circles, or shadows are visible a fresh, radiant eye area is desired Luxury Lift Eye Cream: Focus on wrinkles, elasticity, and prevention The Luxury Lift Eye Cream addresses a different need: it specifically targets wrinkles, expression lines, and the desire for more elasticity. Many people describe their wrinkles in the eye area as deeper, longer, or more clearly pronounced (e.g., crow's feet). Others may not yet have pronounced wrinkles but want to prevent them early on. Luxury Lift works with a peptide complex and botox-like active ingredients that are designed to gently relax facial expressions. The skin is not "paralyzed," but specifically supported. This relaxation can visibly smooth expression lines and inhibit the formation of new wrinkles. The focus here is less on intensive hydration and more on structure, smoothing, and long-term wrinkle reduction. Especially for mature skin or for people who notice the first age-related changes, Luxury Lift can be a very suitable choice. Luxury Lift is particularly suitable if: wrinkles and crow's feet are the main concern the skin is losing elasticity expression lines become visible prevention is an important topic a smoother, calmer complexion is desired If you ask me what the most significant difference between the two eye creams is in everyday use, it's this: Hyalove Eye Cream stands for moisture, plumping & fewer dark circles/puffiness: ideal if your eyes look tired, if dark circles and puffiness bother you, or if dry lines appear due to lack of moisture. Luxury Lift Eye Cream stands for expression line smoothing, anti-aging performance & elasticity: ideal if wrinkles, crow's feet, and expression lines concern you, or if you want to prevent them with a strong peptide focus. Both creams can provide moisture. Both can smooth. But the priority is different. And that is so crucial for your choice. Don't want to choose one focus of action? You can also combine both eye creams and give your eyes the full power of care. Ingredients in detail: What's in the eye creams and why Luxury Lift Eye Cream: targeted active ingredients for expression lines, wrinkles & firmness The Luxury Lift Cream is deliberately designed as a potent anti-wrinkle eye care product. At its heart is a highly developed peptide complex that specifically targets expression lines in the eye area. A key active ingredient is Argireline®, a peptide known to visibly reduce expression lines. Studies show that expression lines can be measurably reduced within a few days. Argireline® does not "freeze" but gently relaxes the facial muscles. This effect is complemented by SYN®-AKE, an active ingredient with botox-like effects that reduces muscle contractions in the face – without diminishing natural facial expressions. In combination with Gatuline® Expression, known for its instant smoothing effects, a visibly calmer complexion around the eyes is achieved. The BoNT-L peptide also influences muscle activity and supports the visible smoothing of deeper wrinkles, while Matrixyl™ Synthe’6™ specifically stimulates collagen production. This active ingredient is particularly important when it comes to firmness, skin density, and the long-term structure of the skin. Two types of hyaluronic acid provide moisture and a pleasant skin feeling, plumping wrinkles from within. In addition, a vitamin C derivative protects the skin from free radicals and provides additional radiance to the eye area. Squalane, shea butter, and macadamia oil ensure that the skin remains supple without leaving a greasy film and simultaneously strengthen the skin barrier. Luxury Lift is thus an eye care product whose ingredients are specifically aimed at visibly reducing expression lines, crow's feet, and age-related lines and giving the skin around the eyes more firmness. Hyalove Eye Cream: Moisture, balance & freshness for the sensitive eye area The Hyalove Eye Cream follows a different active ingredient approach. Here, intensive hydration, plumping of fine lines, and the reduction of dark circles and puffiness are paramount. The core of the formulation is PRIMALHYAL™ 3K, a triple hyaluronic acid complex that provides the skin with moisture on several levels. Different molecular sizes enable multi-layered moisture binding, which visibly reduces dry lines around the eyes and alleviates feelings of tension. At the same time, this complex supports collagen synthesis and strengthens the natural skin barrier. A plant-based bio-peptide (Rubixyl®) complements the effect by smoothing and relaxing the skin and helping to visibly reduce stress-induced aging. For many people with sensitive skin types, this balancing effect is particularly important. With OpenSea Phycokin®, Hyalove also contains a marine active ingredient that specifically reduces puffiness and dark circles. At the same time, it firms the skin structure and ensures a fresh, rested complexion. This effect is supported by Pentavitin®, known for its long-lasting moisture binding and sustainably reducing feelings of dryness. Other nourishing ingredients such as glycerin, shea butter, jojoba oil, and panthenol ensure that the sensitive eye area is intensively nourished, soothed, and regenerated. The texture absorbs quickly, gently nourishes, and leaves a smooth, supple skin feeling. Like all Dr. Massing products, both eye creams are free of mineral oils, silicones, and parabens to ensure high tolerability and optimal absorption of active ingredients. Hyalove or Luxury Lift – not an either-or, but an honest difference What is particularly important to me personally: these two eye creams do not compete with each other. They simply address different skin needs. While Hyalove primarily works where moisture, plumping, and balance are needed, Luxury Lift specifically targets wrinkles, expression lines, and loss of elasticity. Both products are suitable for the sensitive skin around the eyes, both have a pleasant texture that absorbs quickly without feeling heavy. Some people even consciously choose to switch between products depending on their life stage or skin condition. Because our skin is not static; it changes. Uncomplicated application for both creams Both the Hyalove Eye Cream and the Luxury Lift Eye Cream can be easily and uncomplicatedly integrated into your daily skincare routine. After thoroughly cleansing the face, a small amount of the eye cream – about the size of a grain of rice – is gently applied to the skin around the eyes. It is important not to rub the cream under the eyes, but to gently pat it in with your fingertips. This protects the sensitive skin, and the active ingredients can be optimally absorbed. Both eye creams are suitable for daily use, morning and evening, and can be easily combined with your other facial care. This was important to us during development: effective eye care that does not require additional effort but naturally integrates into everyday life. Regardless of whether the focus is on moisture or wrinkle minimization. Finding the right eye cream – what really matters Many test reports, comparisons, and test results suggest that there is one perfect eye cream. My experience (and also the feedback from our customers) shows something different: what is important is how your skin feels and what it signals to you. Does the eye area feel rather dry and form dry lines? Do your eyes look tired or dull? Then Hyalove is the right choice for you. Is the question more about how to reduce or prevent fine lines, wrinkles, and crow's feet? Then Luxury Lift is exactly the right eye cream for your needs. The choice of eye care should always suit your skin type, your age, and your current skin condition. Application & tolerability – gentleness is key No matter which eye cream you choose: application plays a big role. The skin around the eyes should not be pulled or rubbed hard. A small amount (about the size of a grain of rice) is completely sufficient. Gently pat it in, do not massage. Both eye creams have been developed to be well tolerated even by sensitive skin. This is an important point, especially for thin skin or for people who react quickly. My personal conclusion As Pia (and not as a marketing voice), I want to tell you one thing: listen to your skin. The Hyalove Eye Cream is a wonderful choice for anyone who wants more moisture, freshness, and balance. The Luxury Lift Eye Cream accompanies you when wrinkles, elasticity, and prevention play a greater role. Both products are part of the same philosophy: honest care, effective ingredients, and a respectful approach to the sensitive skin around the eyes. And that's what makes the difference for me. LongLashes Serum & Volume Mascara in a Set My absolute insider tip for you is this special gift box with our favorite eyelash serum. It contains 1x LongLashes Eyelash Serum and 1x Volume Mascara. Together, these two products are the perfect duo for a beautiful eye-catching look. LongLashes delivers initial results after just 14 days (with daily use) and provides visibly longer, thicker, and even darker lashes. Hyaluronic acid and biotin nourish the lashes and provide additional moisture. [MUTTERTAG] The Volume Mascara then perfectly showcases the lashes. It contains shea butter and beeswax, which optimally nourish the lashes. Thanks to hyaluronic acid, each individual lash also appears more voluminous. The Volume Mascara thus not only creates an optically irresistible eye-catching look, but also intensively nourishes and protects the lashes from within. The lashes also remain flexible, and the look can be varied from natural to dramatic. With our Mother's Day gift set, your mom is equipped with the two best products she needs for the perfect eye-catching look! Blossom Beauty for inner beauty Our Blossom Beauty Drink with collagen, hyaluronic acid, and aloe vera is also perfect as a Mother's Day gift for your mom. Especially new mothers often have little time for themselves, and Blossom Beauty supports beauty from within. The drink helps regenerate and maintain balanced skin moisture, can effectively plump and smooth small wrinkles, and has a high concentration of active ingredients combined with many trace elements and vitamins. Skin problems and blemishes can also be effectively combated. Just one shot of the drink per day is enough. BlossomBeauty is therefore suitable for all mothers who want more beautiful, smoother, and healthier skin without wrinkles, impurities, and dryness. And incidentally, it also tastes summery and refreshing. My recommendation would be the 3-month course. HYALOVE for a radiant complexion Our HYALOVE Hyaluron Serum also brings a glow to your face. Say goodbye to dry skin patches and irritated skin with Dr. Massing's hyaluronic acid serum, because unlike conventional hyaluron products, Hyalove was developed with an improved formula. It works with 6 different short-, medium-, and long-chain acids. This allows the components to reach the deepest layers of your skin, which can lead to better moisture supply and more elasticity. Wrinkles can be effectively plumped and the skin's appearance smoothed. The serum also has an antibacterial effect and thus combats impurities. In addition to hyaluronic acid and the detox effect, my highlight of Hyalove is the skin-tightening anti-aging effect. Special anti-aging peptides noticeably tighten the skin's appearance and sustainably promote the reduction and new formation of wrinkles. My tip: Create your own Mother's Day gift box with these 3 beauty products. This way you can give your mother special products that are good for her skin, provide sensible care, and even lengthen her own eyelashes. As individual as the qualities we appreciate and love about our mothers are, so varied and colorful are our gift ideas for Mother's Day. From the classic flowers, statement pillows or a card with a personal touch to a surprise visit or excursion with the whole family, get various inspirations and bring your mom a very special joy. Father's Day Gift Ideas

After Mother's Day, Father's Day is just around the corner, and we're here to share some great gift ideas for Father's Day. Origin of the Holiday The popular Father's Day in Germany is celebrated on Ascension Day and is now also celebrated by many non-fathers as "Men's Day." In the non-Catholic parts of Germany, it used to be called "Herrentagspartie," which actually describes the content precisely. Often, it involved a merry carriage ride through nature, with cold drinks and good conversations. Today, the carriage is often replaced by a handcart, and many men enjoy the day with their friends. Incidentally, the whole thing was presumably invented about 100 years ago by the brewery industry. Especially young fathers, of course, also like to celebrate Father's Day – similar to Mother's Day – with their family, and depending on the weather, excursions into nature are also very popular. We find this version of Father's Day much nicer and, of course, also have some great gift ideas for men. Gifts for Father's Day Children who are still in kindergarten or elementary school often make something for their dads, like a card with "Best Dad" written on it. Small individual cards with declarations of love or creative vouchers that dads can redeem later. In addition to classics like quality time and personalized items, including mugs, keychains, beer glasses, and T-shirts with engravings, custom images, or specially selected sayings, original ideas also find their way to the dads of this world. When it comes to gifts for men, not-so-personal presents often come to mind first: barbecue gifts, tools, and alcohol, including beer or spirits. Here's a brief summary of classic gift ideas that many have probably given before: Beer Personalized mug Experience voucher Shopping voucher (e.g., Amazon) Other customizable gifts with engraving (e.g., Zippo lighter) Bracelet Tools Grilling gifts Even if these are not original Father's Day gifts and often rely on stereotypes, dads are happy with the "simple things," as long as they come from the heart. It doesn't take much to make men happy. However, what is often overlooked is that men value their external appearance just as much, so why shouldn't they also receive such gifts? While women strive for clear skin and advantageous makeup, men probably invest most of their styling time in their hair and beards. But not everyone is naturally blessed with a full head of hair – that is, of course, our topic here at Dr. Massing Cosmetics. Fuller Hair as a Father's Day Gift Be it genetic, or due to external influences, stress, or a nutrient deficiency – hair loss can affect anyone. If the hair on the head becomes thinner and sparser, this can also affect self-confidence. Before considering medical interventions such as a hair transplant, men can achieve visible results with effective hair growth products like the FullHair Hair Serum. Sparse hair and thinning areas, especially receding hairlines, are a problem for many men. So, our hair growth product is perfect as a Father's Day gift. It helps with hair loss and thin hair, strengthens the hair, makes it denser, and can actively promote hair growth. The FullHair Serum not only stimulates prostaglandin synthesis but also effectively supplies the hair roots with the same active ingredients that are found in our LongLashes eyelash serum. It was specially developed for natural hair growth and is based on years of experience and customer feedback. FullHair contains 6 strong growth-promoting active ingredients + rich nutrients for fuller and denser hair. Additionally, it contains growth-promoting peptides, keratin, and caffeine, which revitalize the hair and structurally strengthen it. It can be applied precisely to the scalp with the pipette. Unlike other products, this hair serum contains 6 active ingredients and strengthens the hair instead of just conditioning it. The hair follicles are stimulated and activated directly at the hair root, which users can see results from within just a few weeks. If your dad, or perhaps your brother or friend, is struggling with hair loss, the hair serum is the perfect gift for Father's Day or other occasions. Our Hair Growth Set includes the FullHair Serum as well as hair capsules, which act as a rich dietary supplement from within, strengthening the hair and reducing hair loss. These two products in a duo provide optimal support for fuller hair. Beard Care suitable for Father's Day A full and dense beard will probably never go out of style. Unfortunately, for many men, their beard grows patchy or sparse, which can, of course, be frustrating. Dr. Massing's FullBeard Beard Growth Serum can help, as it is based on the same ingredients as the FullHair Serum and can effectively contribute to making beard growth denser and fuller and making patchy areas disappear. The beard growth product is applied 1–2 times daily with the practical applicator, and initial results can be visible after just 3–4 weeks. To promote blood circulation and better absorption of active ingredients, the serum can then be gently massaged in with the fingers. The beard growth product not only leads to increased growth but also to stronger and fuller beard hair. Even if some, perhaps even you, are initially skeptical, our customers can confirm the effectiveness of the products. What's special is that our products are cruelty-free and contain neither microplastics nor harmful additives, making them very skin-friendly. In the Beard Growth Set, you'll also receive the FullBeard Serum and the Titan Beard Roller. The small needles create microscopic channels on the skin, allowing the active ingredients in the serum to penetrate the skin even better. This can make the results with the FullBeard beard growth product even more effective and visible more quickly. You may already be familiar with such a product, as derma rollers are very popular in skincare. The perfect complement and support for our care products. Be creative Hopefully, you like these somewhat different ideas for Father's Day gifts to delight your father. Show your dad he's the best with an original gift. For example, if I were to choose a beard care set as a gift for my dad, I would also complement the gift with a customizable card or a photo engraving or something else personal. When I buy a gift for my dad, whether it's a birthday gift, Christmas gift, or Father's Day gift, it's especially important to me that they are simple, individual, and personal. What other ideas do you have? Feel free to share them with us using the comment function; I look forward to it! Your Pia 💝
Kollagen

The Efficacy of Collagen

You've probably come across the term "collagen" or its internationalized spelling "Collagen" more than once when choosing your skincare products. Perhaps you already know a thing or two about it? If not, don't worry, because you've come to the right place! So, ready for your "aha moment"? What exactly is this collagen? The term collagen hides an entire group of proteins, so "the collagen" in this sense doesn't really exist. In this context, the term "structural protein" often comes up. Five different collagens alone can be found in our skin. In addition, collagen is the organic component of your bones and teeth. The body's own collagen is also an essential component of cartilage, tendons, and ligaments. Note: For simplicity, I will refer to this group of proteins simply as "collagen" in this article. Good to know: With a percentage of 30 percent, collagen is the most common protein in the human body. Where is collagen located in the skin? The structural protein is located in the middle of three layers of skin. This is professionally called the dermis. What is my body's need for collagen? The exact need for collagen cannot be stated as a general rule, as every body is different. Here too, individuality is very important. Here's an example: Someone who suffers from severe joint pain or even cartilage damage generally has a higher need than someone whose joints are undamaged. What is the function of the body's own collagen? You can imagine the structural protein as a sturdy scaffold. It provides plenty of stability. Thus, it gives joints, muscles, and tendons the necessary support. In addition, it keeps both the skin and connective tissue elastic and firm. Furthermore, it can store a lot of water. If your skin lacks collagen, you can certainly imagine that the skin will become increasingly flabby and the connective tissue will weaken. In other words, cellulite and skin dimples become more visible. What side effects can collagen have? In rare cases, allergies can occur, as collagen is a protein. In fact, it can be said that the risk of an allergy decreases the more similar animal collagen is to human collagen. This means that, purely factually, chicken, beef, and pork are lower-risk collagen sources than fish and jellyfish. However, it is much more common for allergies to be caused by cosmetic or surgical treatments. This can be the case, for example, when using collagen as a dermal filler or in eye surgery. Apart from that, skin rashes can also be caused by collagen hydrolysates in hair conditioners. In general, you can remember that the correct intake of collagen usually has no side effects. It depends on the dosage, i.e., ultimately the exact amount. What amount of collagen is needed? This basically depends on the product's recommended dosage. Important: dietary supplements should never replace your complete meals. They should only supplement them. As a general rule, daily dosages of 2-10g are recommended, depending on the dosage form. How exactly does the effect of collagen work? The body is a clever mechanism and is therefore able to produce collagen independently. For this process, the amino acids glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline are used. Your body forms collagen fibers from the protein. These link up in the middle skin layer, the dermis, to form a collagen scaffold that keeps the uppermost skin layer taut. Only through the interplay with elastic, stretchable fibers does your skin's elasticity develop. They complement the stable collagen in the connective tissue, so to speak. The network of collagen and elastin fibers is surrounded by a gel-like layer of moisture-binding hyaluronic acid and other components. This gives the skin additional volume. [HYALURONSERUM] Did you know that your natural anti-aging resources, which keep your skin beautifully firm, are depleted over time? With increasing age, collagen and hyaluronic acid production decreases. Inevitably, a collagen deficiency occurs, so to speak. Unfortunately, this is completely natural and affects everyone in the long run. What are the effects of reduced collagen production in old age? On the one hand, the skin becomes increasingly wrinkled and sagging, and on the other hand, the muscles lose elasticity. This means that the tendons become less flexible over time and the bones become brittle. More simply put, the connective tissue becomes flaccid and wrinkles appear. It can also happen that the joints cause problems and inflammation is noticeable. How can these effects be counteracted? Nowadays, collagen can be produced industrially, which is why it is available in various dosage forms. We are talking about powders, capsules, drinking ampoules, and creams. In the best case, you can compensate for age-related collagen deficiency. Our with collagen, aloe vera, and hyaluronic acid contains a lot of collagen, which you can easily take once a day in a delicious beauty shot. What leads to the breakdown of collagen? Various environmental factors can lead to the breakdown of the structural protein. An unhealthy, or more precisely, unbalanced lifestyle can also have a strong influence on your collagen reserves. Stress is at the top of the list. Excessive consumption of sugar and alcohol also plays a role here. Strong sun exposure as well. Smoking also has a counterproductive effect on your collagen reserves. Chronic diseases can also lead to a breakdown of collagen. Which foods stimulate collagen production? Your body needs a good portion of minerals and vitamins for this. Vitamin C, in particular, is an essential co-factor in collagen production, as is vitamin E. Vitamin E can counteract the breakdown of collagen by inhibiting the activity of collagenases. This is precisely why our Blossom Beauty Drink contains vitamin C and vitamin E in addition to collagen. Can you really drink yourself beautiful with a collagen drink? Just a reminder, collagen, as a structural protein, is essentially involved in the skin's structure. It gives many body parts their firmness and thus provides structure. No part of your body can do without collagen. Therefore, collagen, along with ceramides and hyaluronic acid, is the foundation of your skin. You can strengthen this foundation by taking dietary supplements. You can thus actively counteract skin aging. Yes, in a certain sense, you can indeed drink yourself beautiful. 😍 What is the essential difference between collagen-containing creams and collagen drinks? Collagen-containing creams are applied to the skin, thus acting purely superficially. In other words, the collagen cannot penetrate into the connective tissue of the middle skin layer. In contrast, with a collagen drink, such as our BlossomBeauty Drink, the collagen reaches exactly where it is needed through the bloodstream, namely into the middle skin layer. In general, you can remember: It is more effective to stimulate the body's own collagen production through a dietary supplement than to apply collagen directly to the skin in the form of a cream, as the skin cannot absorb it properly.

Eyelash Curler Basics

Long, full, and curled lashes – we all dream of them, and thanks to lash serums like LongLashes and great mascaras like the Volume Mascara with hyaluronic acid, a visit to the beauty salon for lash extensions or fake lashes is no longer necessary. To get the full potential from your own lashes, don't forget to use an eyelash curler. Admittedly, these tools might seem intimidating, and beginners, understandably, are afraid they might pull out their lashes and make things worse instead of better. That's why today I'm going to tell you everything you need to know about using an eyelash curler and how to use it to get a great result. What makes a good eyelash curler Basically, there are two types of eyelash curlers. The traditional, mechanical eyelash curlers, whose handles resemble those of nail scissors, and where the lashes are pressed between metal and a rubber strip. Then there are the electric, heated eyelash curlers. With these, the lashes are either also pressed into shape in a clamp, but with heat to enhance the effect, or the lashes are carefully curled with a kind of mini curling iron and thus shaped. Although these types of eyelash curlers differ in appearance and application, both provide a beautiful curl and, with the right mascara, seductive eyes. Especially if you don't use a curler yet and are not familiar with the tool, a small guide can't hurt so that you can make your natural lashes appear longer in no time. The right model Whether you get better results with a regular eyelash curler or a heated eyelash curler is something you have to try out and find out for yourself. I personally like to use the simpler eyelash curler without heat. Whether it's a drugstore, perfumery, or online: the selection of different eyelash curler models is huge. Prices start at just a few euros and go up to 30 € and even more. Even if the different eyelash curlers all look the same at first glance, the quality and consequently the result can vary. Mechanical eyelash curlers are generally available in stainless steel with a silicone, rubber, or velvet pad. This may seem obvious to you, as almost every eyelash curler on the market is equipped with one, but there are indeed models without a padded strip. This can quickly lead to your lashes breaking and becoming severely damaged. Models with a good price-performance ratio are not uncommon, especially when you consider how precious our lashes are. You shouldn't just grab the first or cheapest product. Plastic eyelash curlers are also not ideal (unless it's a heated eyelash curler), as they are not as robust, stable, and durable as their stainless steel counterparts. This article today focuses primarily on the classic eyelash curler without a heating function. Important notes You should always curl your lashes before applying mascara! You should never try to shape already mascarad lashes with an eyelash curler, as this can cause your lashes to break and there is a risk of pulling out all your lashes. So, curl first, then apply mascara. If for no other reason than to prevent mascara residue from accumulating on the eyelash curler, but more on that later. Apart from that, you can use the eyelash curler in your make-up routine whenever you want. It's best to curl your lashes after you've applied your eye make-up (eyeshadow and eyeliner) and just before you apply your mascara. Whether you apply your make-up before or after doesn't matter. What can also be very helpful is a magnifying mirror, because in it you can see exactly where to start and when your lashes are well in the curler. But even if you use a normal mirror or a small hand mirror, you can simply move closer to the mirror or bring the mirror closer to you so you can see well. 5-step guide First, hold the eyelash curler with your thumb and index finger like nail scissors and open it all the way. Your lashes should be dry, free of make-up, and not greasy. Next, position the upper edge as close as possible above your upper lash line, so that as many lashes as possible are between the metal piece and the silicone pad. Caution: You should, of course, not pinch your eyelid, otherwise it can be quite painful. In the next step, gently press the eyelash curler together and wait a few seconds before releasing it. Depending on how easily your lashes curl, you may need less or more time – find out what works best for you. For some, it's ten seconds, for others, thirty, but it's advisable not to go longer than a minute. To achieve a voluminous curl and a real curve instead of just a single kink in your lashes, reposition the curler a little further away from the lash line and repeat this process several times. Always move a little further along the lengths towards the tips, but not too close. Here, just a few seconds are enough for the desired shape. If you haven't caught all your lashes, you can, of course, repeat the entire process. Especially the fine hairs at both ends cannot be curled immediately. Those with particularly small eyes or a special eye shape should consider a Partial / Half Lash Curler, which, as the name suggests, is half the size. In any case, you should work carefully along the lash line segment by segment so that all lashes are evenly curled. Important tips Heated eyelash curlers utilize heat, similar to straighteners and curling irons. But if you don't have such a device, you can quickly warm up your eyelash curler yourself in a few seconds. Simply hold a hairdryer on the normal eyelash curler for a moment. Caution: Do not apply directly to the eye, but always make sure that the metal and rubber pad are not too hot. It is enough to briefly feel with your fingers how hot the eyelash curler still is. Many rely on waterproof mascara for beautiful lashes that can hold their curl all day long. But even with mascara, such as Dr. Massing's Volume Mascara, your lashes will not lose their shape. Furthermore, many are afraid that aggressive curling will break or damage their lashes. A good mascara should therefore not only make the lashes appear denser, more voluminous, and longer, but also nourish the hairs. That's why the Volume Mascara contains not only hyaluronic acid but also shea butter and beeswax, which additionally nourish, strengthen, and moisturize the lashes. Another tip, more of a must, is regular cleaning of the eyelash curler. Especially if you use the eyelash curler when your lashes are already coated with mascara, make-up residues and thus bacteria can quickly accumulate. Especially in the eye area, nobody wants unnecessary impurities and dirt particles. Generally, however, I recommend that you only use the eyelash curler on bare lashes. This has the advantage that you don't have to clean the curler as often and your lashes break or fall out less. Depending on how often you use the curler, you should wipe the silicone pad once or twice a week with a damp (make-up remover) cloth or cotton pad and replace the strip completely every month or after a few weeks. Dare to try Ultimately, in most cases, it just takes a little practice for everyone to perfectly curl their own lashes. If you have straight and short lashes, in addition to using an eyelash curler and our Hyaluron Mascara, I also recommend the LongLashes eyelash serum, with which you really get long lashes instead of just making them look like it. I personally use the combination of all 3: The LongLashes lash serum for longer lashes, the eyelash curler for more curl, and the VolumeMascara for more volume and care. If you've tried the tips, please let me know if it worked and how you liked it! Share your experience and maybe even your own advice in the comments. I look forward to it! Your Pia ❤️

The Face Roller – The New Trend for Perfect Facial Care

Face rollers, derma rollers, jade rollers or Gua Sha – you've probably heard of all of them. But how exactly does the facial massage technique with the stylish gemstone rollers or plates work, what are the material differences, and what should you definitely look out for? Here, I'll answer these questions and give you a brief introduction to facial massage. Jade Rollers These have been used in China since the 7th century. So, the trend isn't new at all, even if it has only really caught on here in recent years. In this country, the best-known and most popular face rollers are made of green jade or pink rose quartz, but there are also variations made of amethyst or rock crystal, for example. Different stones are attributed different effects, such as rose quartz having a de-stressing effect. Important: Be careful with offers that are too cheap, because these rollers are often made of glass and not stone. The face rollers, which look like small paint rollers, provide a cool refreshment for your skin. Tip for next summer: Store in the refrigerator for an even stronger cooling effect! They reduce puffiness and, with proper use, can stimulate the lymphatic system and thus refine facial contours. Gua Sha Massage Stone A Gua Sha stone is a palm-sized, heart- or wave-shaped stone made of jade or rose quartz. Originally, Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese form of body massage that is said to eliminate toxins and cleanse the body. The cool, smooth surface of the stones and their handy size make them powerful massage tools for your face. Similar to the jade roller, the Gua Sha stone unfolds its stimulating effect when you gently glide it over your skin, stimulating blood circulation, reducing swelling, and diminishing wrinkles. This creates a beautiful natural flow, and your face appears rosy and fresh with an immediate effect. Microneedling or Dermaroller Have you ever heard of microneedling? Our skin typically renews itself approximately every 28 days. The idea behind the latest microneedling trend is to stimulate and renew the skin faster through tiny micro-injuries, revealing new and fresh skin. It is a very simple, safe, effective, cost-effective, and minimally invasive therapeutic technique. Microneedling uses the fine needles of the dermaroller or microneedling roller to activate skin functions such as the skin's own collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production, stimulate blood circulation, and boost natural skin regeneration. This self-healing process corrects existing skin damage such as dryness, redness, and also improves the absorption of active ingredients, which can lead to better results. For visible effects, several applications are necessary at intervals of three to four weeks. In the next section, you will find the correct procedure to benefit from the positive effects of facial rollers, repair skin cells, and prevent fine lines and wrinkles. The correct dermaroller application – step by step When using a microneedling roller, the guidelines are important: from inside to outside and from bottom to top. This is the best way to drain accumulated fluid and enhance contours. Procedure: Before each use, you should disinfect the Needling Dermaroller. Then wash thoroughly with hot water. Cleaning your hands and face is particularly important, so that they are free of grease and oil, and free of make-up. Regular application is 2–3 times a week, preferably in the evening, by rolling 8–10 times horizontally, vertically, and diagonally over the skin areas with light pressure. Afterward, apply a moisturizing and regenerating hyaluronic serum. With Gua Sha plates, you essentially make the same movements, except that you glide the plates over the skin areas instead of rolling. You should always use the part of the plate that best conforms to the respective facial area, such as the long, straight side on the cheeks or the converging side on the cheekbones. Here, you have to experiment a bit to find out which side best suits which facial area. Furthermore, it's not about pressure here, but rather about gentle, even work. Then, this small facial massage can truly feel like a wellness vacation at home, and the skincare products will be absorbed much better into the skin. Effect of facial rollers Do you also wish for radiant, beautiful, and healthy skin from within? Daily massage with a facial roller or jade roller is incredibly relaxing and gives you a wonderful glow effect in just a few minutes. Even with a daily facial massage of five to ten minutes, you are doing your skin good in the long term. This gentle massage stimulates lymphatic flow in your lymphatic vessels. In addition, blood circulation is boosted, toxins are better removed, and collagen production is stimulated. Hyalove Needling Dermaroller Do you spend a lot of time on lotions, creams, serums, and tinctures for youthful, firm, and healthy skin? With this beauty treatment, you can save on a lot of products. This allows the active ingredients to be absorbed even better by the skin and work even deeper. This achieves significantly better and faster results in terms of anti-aging, wrinkle fighting, and impure skin on the face. The Needling Dermaroller achieves the following results on the face and décolleté: boosts skin regeneration reduces wrinkles and acne scars reduces stretch marks refines pores renews cells reduces skin discolorations and pigmentation disorders creates natural lip volume I recommend using both Hyalove products – the Hyalove Hyaluronic Serum and the Hyalove Dermaroller – to achieve the best possible results. Your skin will change in just a few weeks and appear smoother, firmer, and clearer. You actively reduce wrinkles, impurities, and redness, and supply your skin with truly valuable active ingredients that support your natural skin health and beauty. Both products are also available in the Needling Set with an additional discount of €10. Hyalove Hyaluron Serum 30ml Face rollers and needling rollers are also excellent for working skincare products like our HYALOVE Hyaluronic Serum into the skin. The treatment improves blood circulation in the skin, and with the help of a needling roller, the active ingredients can be absorbed even better, thus binding moisture in the skin and allowing for an even better effect. For proper treatment, use the face or needling roller on the face as described above, apply the products as usual, and then work them in with the roller. Free yourself from dry skin patches and irritated skin with Dr. Massing's hyaluronic acid serum, because unlike conventional hyaluronic products, Hyalove was developed with an improved formula. Instead of one or two hyaluronic acids, Hyalove works with 6 different short-, medium-, and long-chain acids. This allows the components to penetrate even the deepest layers of your skin, achieving better moisturization and more elasticity. The daily application 1-2 times a day begins with the pipette, with which you apply 2–3 drops of the serum with your hands to your face and, if necessary, to your eye, forehead, and mouth areas. Your décolleté will also appreciate an extra boost of moisture. After absorption, you can apply your day cream or make-up. The dermaroller application combined with hyaluronic serums makes the skin look even fresher and at the same time provides it with the necessary moisture in conjunction with a relaxing facial massage. Do something good for your face and treat your skin to some wellness with the beauty treatment from Massing Cosmetics!

Do eyelashes grow back?

Are your eyelashes short, thin, brittle, and falling out? Have you already tried everything imaginable to make them look longer, curlier, and smoother? Nothing helps long-term, and you're wondering if your eyelashes will even grow back? We've received numerous questions about whether and how eyelashes grow back, so let's clarify now! Below, you will also learn what you need to know to optimally support your eyelashes as they regrow. The Core Question: Do Eyelashes Grow Back? Yes! However, it's important to understand that the timing of their loss plays a crucial role. If an eyelash falls out while still in the growth phase, it will likely take longer for it to grow back. It would grow faster if it had fallen out naturally. Each person has between 300 and 450 small hairs per eye, with significantly more hairs growing on the upper eyelid than on the lower. There are a maximum of 150 individual lashes here. The length of the hairs also depends on whether they grow on the upper or lower part of the eyelid. Upper lashes can reach about 8 to 12 mm in length, while those on the lower eyelid only reach an average of 6 mm. How Fast Do Eyelashes Grow Back? The answer, i.e., how fast eyelashes grow, depends on genetic predisposition and the nourishment of the hair root. Basically, growth is divided into three phases: In phase 1, eyelashes actively grow and become longer. This occurs within a period of 30 to 45 days. The first phase ends when the eyelashes reach their maximum length. In phase 2 of growth, no more hair cells are produced, the sheath of the hair root shrinks and becomes firm. Breaking should be prevented here. Phase 3 is a resting phase. In this phase, the eyelash hair remains for up to 100 days before falling out. Then the growth cycle begins again. With a healthy, vitamin-rich diet and special care, the growth of eyelashes can actually be stimulated a little. Our 2 Tips: Proper Eyelash Care for Optimal Regrowth So that you don't have to resort to false eyelashes, but can turn your short eyelashes into long and full ones, you need some basics. Just like scalp hair, your eyelashes also require targeted care. Especially if you apply mascara daily, you should keep the following in mind: Pay attention to a gentle make-up removal routine. Ideally, use natural and mild products to remove make-up and make sure not to rub your lash hairs, otherwise the hairs will quickly fall out or break off. The fine hairs should be detangled with an eyelash comb before applying mascara. This removes dust and foreign particles and prevents individual hairs from sticking together. Making Eyelashes Grow Faster – Is It Possible? Our #1 tip for optimal results in growing eyelashes faster is our high-quality eyelash serum, which stimulates growth with growth-promoting ingredients, including vitamins and hyaluronic acid. [STOERER-LONGLASHES] Long Eyelashes with Serum Through treatment with a high-quality serum, the texture of your eyelashes becomes supple, the structure is strengthened, the hair root is nourished, and the skin of the eyelid is cared for. The lifespan of individual hairs can therefore be extended. In addition, the hair root is stimulated to grow better and faster, thus preventing breakage and shedding. The high-quality serum contains growth-promoting and nourishing ingredients, including hyaluronic acid and vitamin B, which stimulate hair growth. Our Serum for Optimal Eyelash Growth Here's what distinguishes our high-quality serum: it works quickly follicles and hair roots are to be stimulated growth is to be enhanced sparse or thin areas are to be filled in for full lashes care ingredients are added to nourish skin and hair, even for sensitive eyes a natural protective layer against environmental factors is to be built up Our serum is also characterized by the fact that you can use it not only for longer eyelashes but also as a serum for your eyebrows, as it acts on the hairs in the brows with the same ingredients and supports equally full, dense eyebrows. After approximately four to eight weeks, you should notice the first positive results from the serum. It is important that you use the product regularly. Otherwise, the desired quick effect may be compromised. Growing Eyelashes – Dos and Don'ts In summary, whether it's about the regeneration of a gradually thinning lash structure or individually fallen eyelashes, complete regrowth can take time. Here’s an overview of all the tips to shorten your wait: Reduce the use of waterproof mascara or use a nourishing mascara. Ensure optimal care and a gentle make-up removal routine with a mild make-up remover. Use our high-quality serum so that full eyelashes can grow back quickly. Maintain a wholesome, healthy, and vitamin-rich diet. Be patient, give the process time. It can take a while for your eyelashes to grow back.
Vaseline

Long eyelashes without Vaseline – this really helps

Curved, dense, and above all, long eyelashes give the eyes more depth and expressiveness. It's no wonder that mascara is considered the best-selling make-up product. Many swear by Vaseline for full, beautiful lashes. We'll clarify why Vaseline is not the "ultimate solution" for rapid eyelash growth. You'll also learn how to sustainably stimulate eyelash growth and thus visually lengthen them. The Growth Process of Your Eyelashes On average, between 300 and 450 eyelashes grow per eye, with the upper eyelid having significantly more lashes than the lower eyelid. The latter has a maximum of 150 fine hairs. Eyelashes growing on the upper eyelid can reach approximately 8 to 12 mm in length, while those on the lower eyelid typically reach only 6 mm. Eyelashes grow for 30 to 45 days, during which time they gain length. This length is genetically determined and may vary slightly from the average. The growth phase ends when the maximum length is reached. Subsequently, the second phase begins. During this phase, no new cells are produced, and the hair follicle shrinks. The resting phase begins. Depending on individual predisposition, this phase lasts up to 100 days until the eyelash eventually falls out. Does Vaseline Help and Promote Eyelash Growth? If you search online for home remedies to stimulate hair growth, you quickly come across Vaseline with its moisturizing properties. It is said to moisturize lashes, intensely nourish them, and even stimulate eyelash growth. But is that true? Beauty myth or truth? What's the deal with Vaseline and its ingredients? Small spoiler: It's not true – let me explain why. What is Vaseline? Vaseline, also known as petroleum jelly, is a paraffin paste. For decades, this fatty paste has been considered one of the leading "care products" worldwide. It is said to prevent dry, chapped skin and help with injuries. Vaseline is also often used for the lips to care for them and make them appear fuller. Vaseline is also used to support the natural growth of eyelashes. Vaseline is obtained from the residues of petroleum distillation. With the addition of bleaching earth, sulfuric acid, and activated carbon, the raw paste is purified and bleached. The now commercially known Vaseline thus eventually ends up in stores. Essential components of Vaseline are therefore largely mineral oils, i.e., paraffin. Why Vaseline is not the solution for short eyelashes Vaseline consists only of the residues of petroleum distillation and unfortunately contains not a single active ingredient. The cream cannot sustainably provide for growth or for the basic care of eyelashes. And no moisture is provided here either. Although paraffin-containing products feel moisturizing, only an oil film forms, which envelops the eyelashes. This has no negative effects — but also no positive effects on the desired long eyelashes. Unhealthy Routines - Mascara inhibits growth Before attempting to stimulate eyelash growth by any conceivable means, care must be taken not to damage the hairs. However, this is precisely what happens with aggressive facial care routines and make-up removers. The result: the hairs become porous or are pulled out. Therefore, it is important to use a gentle make-up remover. For this, the use of cotton pads and an appropriate mild make-up remover is recommended. Without pressure and with dabbing, not rubbing, circular movements, with lukewarm water, the face can be optimally cleansed. It should also be self-explanatory that the use of certain mascaras has a negative effect on eyelash growth. Immediately after application, it is noticeable that the hairs are stiff and less elastic. This increases the risk of eyelash breakage. It is advisable to reduce the application of mascara to the fine hairs and to pay particular attention to using a nourishing mascara. The best tips and home remedies for regeneration? Supportive home remedies can include castor oil or simple olive oil. Both castor oil and simple olive oil are applied with an eyelash brush and left to act overnight. The delicate hairs are supplied with vitamins and moisture by applying castor oil and also protected from environmental influences, so that the eyelashes can no longer break as quickly. Our No. 1 Tip for Long Eyelashes To achieve maximum results, our #1 tip for optimal growth is our high-quality eyelash serum. Why a serum at all? Treatment with a high-quality serum makes the texture of your eyelashes smooth, strengthens their structure, nourishes the hair root, and cares for the skin of the eyelid. The lifespan of individual hairs can therefore be extended. In addition, the hair root is naturally stimulated to grow better and faster. A high-quality serum contains growth-promoting and nourishing ingredients. These include hyaluronic acid and vitamin B, which contribute to stimulating hair growth. Why our serum? In short, our high-quality serum pursues the following goals: Follicles and hair roots should be stimulated Eyelash growth should be strengthened Sparse or patchy areas should be refilled Nourishing ingredients are also included to care for skin and hairs A natural protective layer against environmental factors should be built up Our serum is also characterized by the fact that you can use it not only for denser eyelashes, but also as a serum for your eyebrows, as it works with the same ingredients. It supports not only full eyelashes, but also full eyebrows. [STOERER-LONGLASHES] When does the serum start to work? After approximately four to eight weeks, you should start to see positive results from the serum. It is important that you apply the product regularly for dense eyelashes. Otherwise, the desired effect may be impaired.

Alopecia Areata - Everything You Need to Know!

Dealing with hair loss can be difficult. For many people, their hair is a big part of their identity. Sudden hair loss and the resulting bald spots on the skin can be emotionally devastating and a psychological burden. There are various ways to cope with any form of hair loss. Some people choose to wear wigs or hats, while others opt for treatments that stimulate hair growth. No matter how those affected deal with it, it's important to remember that you are not alone and help is available if you need it.  While the cause is unknown, the condition is thought to be autoimmune in nature. Treatment for alopecia areata typically focuses on managing symptoms and helping the person cope with hair loss. There is no cure for alopecia areata, but in some cases, the hair regrows from the roots on its own. Definition – Alopecia Areata  Alopecia areata, also known as spot baldness, is a condition in which the body attacks its own hair follicles. This leads to bald patches on the scalp, face, and sometimes other parts of the body. The cause of this condition is unknown, but it is thought to be autoimmune in nature. There is no cure, but treatment can help improve the appearance of the hair and prevent further loss.  Typical Symptoms of Alopecia Areata  There are a few ways to recognize alopecia areata. First, you may notice that your head, beard, or body hair is falling out in patches. These bald spots, more precisely rounded areas, are usually round or oval, hence the name "alopecia areata". Another way to determine if you have this condition is to look at your scalp and hair roots. If you see bald patches that are smooth and shiny, this is another sign. If you suspect it or notice the first small bald spots, it is important to see a doctor so that they can confirm the diagnosis and start treatment. The associated hair loss does not necessarily have to be permanent. In some cases, the lost hair regrows naturally within six months. Occasionally, the color (pigment) in some hairs changes, leaving gray or white hairs up to gray spots. Possible Causes of Alopecia Areata? Basically, alopecia areata is an autoimmune disease. There are many possible causes, but the underlying mechanism is thought to be an autoimmune process. The immune system attacks the hair follicles, causing them to shrink and eventually stop producing hair. There are several theories as to why this might happen, but the exact cause is still unknown.   There are several possible causes for alopecia areata, including stress, hormones, and certain medications. A genetic component is also believed to be involved, as it often runs in families. Regardless of the exact cause, it is clear that the immune system plays a key role in the development of this condition. How does the disease progress? The temporal course of alopecia areata affects hair shape. It can cause your hair to thin and lose its natural shape. This condition is often caused by a buildup of oil and sebum on the scalp, which can block hair follicles and prevent the growth of new hair. The temporal course of hair loss can also be due to genetic factors, hormones, or certain medical conditions. If you suffer from this condition, it is important to consult a doctor or dermatologist so that they can determine the underlying cause and recommend the appropriate treatment. Treatment for Alopecia Areata In addition to various medications, a change in diet can also help your hair. While there isn't a perfect diet for hair loss, there are certain foods that can help improve the condition of the scalp and hair. These include omega-3 fatty acids, biotin, zinc, and iron.  In addition, you can try taking food supplements specially developed to combat hair loss. To supplement this, it is recommended to eat a healthy diet with many different fruits, vegetables, avocados, nuts, lupin flour, seeds, wheat germ oil, and olive oil to strengthen the vitamin balance. Which doctor should you see for typical symptoms of alopecia areata? There are many causes of hair loss and therefore many treatment options. If you suffer from this type of hair loss, also known as alopecia areata, you may be wondering who can help you. The first step is to see your family doctor or a dermatologist. They can rule out other conditions that might be causing your hair loss and give you a diagnosis. Once you have your diagnosis, your doctor will be able to recommend the best treatment method for you.  Nevertheless, the following applies: Basically, there is no single right specialist to consult. Some people find success with a dermatologist, while others may consult a family doctor or an endocrinologist. The most important thing is to find a doctor who is familiar with the condition and who can offer you the best possible treatment plan.
Diffuser Haarausfall (Alopecia diffusa) - Alles was du wissen musst!

Diffuse Hair Loss (Alopecia Diffusa) - Everything You Need to Know!

Diffuse hair loss is when you lose hair all over your scalp, instead of just in one spot. It can have a variety of causes, including stress, hormones, thyroid problems, and even certain medications. Doctors prescribe medication for hair loss or give care tips to counteract hair loss, as well as how to stimulate hair regrowth. Hair loss can be a difficult and emotionally charged topic. Diffuse hair loss, in particular, can pose a special challenge. Although there are a number of possible causes for hair loss, the good news is that there are also a number of treatment options for the symptoms. In the following, I would like to give you all relevant information on the topic of diffuse hair loss and answer your questions on the subject. So stay tuned… Definition of diffuse hair loss There are many different types of conditional hair loss, but this is one of the most common. It is characterized by a gradual thinning of the hair on the scalp over time. This can be caused by a number of factors, including aging, hormones, and even stress. Although it is usually not a medical problem, diffuse hair loss can be disruptive and cause low self-esteem. Fundamentally, hair follicles remain intact with diffuse hair loss. If you suffer from this hair loss, there are a number of treatments that can stimulate hair growth on your scalp again. Talk to your doctor about your options and find the best way to cope with this condition. What happens to my hair follicles? Hair follicles are an important part of the hair growth process. If they are damaged or stop functioning properly, this can lead to hair loss. This is a symptom of many different conditions. They range from hormonal imbalances to autoimmune diseases. Although there is no cure, there are treatments that can improve the condition and prevent further damage. Recognizing symptoms: How do I recognize diffuse hair loss? You can recognize diffuse hair loss (diffuse alopecia) by various symptoms. One way is to pay attention to the amount of hair you are losing. If you are losing a lot of hair, then it is likely that you are suffering from it. Another way to recognize diffuse alopecia is to look at the quality of your hair. If your hair is thinning or breaking easily, you can recognize it. Finally, if you experience other symptoms such as fatigue or mood swings, this can be another sign. But don't despair. You cannot be 100% sure. I recommend you visit your family doctor and clarify everything with him. Are there differences between women and men? Yes, there are some differences between diffuse hair loss in women and men. While both sexes can be affected by this type of hair loss, it is more common in women. It is also more often permanent in women. In addition, the pattern of diffuse hair loss differs between women and men. In women, hair loss is usually more evenly distributed over the scalp, while in men it is often concentrated in one area on the scalp. 1. Causes of diffuse hair loss in women Hair loss can be a difficult and emotionally stressful experience for anyone. For women, however, it can be particularly distressing. Women are often told that their hair is a symbol of their femininity. So, when they start to lose it due to hair loss, they can feel like they are losing a part of themselves. There are many causes. Hair loss in women is often caused by hormonal changes that can occur during menopause, pregnancy, or due to stress. Further causes of hair loss in women are: Taking or discontinuing birth control pills Iron deficiency Hormonal changes Thyroid diseases Hormonal fluctuations or nutrient deficiencies (e.g. vitamin C or vitamin E) If you are struggling with hair loss, know that you are not alone and there are people who understand what you are going through. 2. Causes of diffuse hair loss in men There are a number of possible causes of hair loss in men. One cause is a genetic predisposition. If hair loss occurs in your family, it is more likely that you will experience it yourself. Another possible cause is stress. It can be a side effect of physical or emotional stress as a cause. Finally, certain medical conditions can also lead to hair loss. For example, an autoimmune disease called alopecia areata – circular hair loss can cause patchy hair loss that can eventually lead to diffuse hair loss if left untreated. How long can diffuse hair loss last? The aforementioned hair loss is a very common problem that many people face. Depending on the cause, hair loss can unfortunately last for different lengths of time. Disease-related hair loss occurs when hair falls out more than normal, which can last from a few months to several years. It can be caused by stress, certain medical conditions, and medications. How can I treat diffuse hair loss? There are many ways to treat diffuse alopecia. The most important thing, however, is to find out the underlying cause. Hair loss can be caused by a number of things, including stress, nutrient deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and certain medical conditions, as well as other causes. Once the cause is identified, treatment can be tailored specifically to that person. For example, if hair loss is due to stress, managing stress levels is key to treatment. This can mean lifestyle changes, such as regular exercise, meditation or yoga, and adequate sleep. If hair loss is due to a nutrient deficiency, taking supplements or eating more foods rich in that nutrient is necessary. A unbalanced diet should therefore also be avoided. If it is due to a hormonal imbalance, hormone therapy may be recommended. It only counts to use the right therapy and then stimulate hair growth again. [HAIR LOSS SERUM] Regardless of the underlying cause of the particular type of hair loss, there are therapies that can help. I recommend you consult your doctor for advice on how to correctly treat your scalp hair loss. Is there a difference between diffuse hair loss and hereditary hair loss? Yes, there is. Hereditary hair loss is a condition that can be inherited from both parents. In most cases, the hair growth cycle is simply shortened. This leads to thinner, shorter hairs. In some cases, however, the hair follicles can shrink, which can eventually lead to hair loss. Diffuse hair loss, on the other hand, is not hereditary. Symptoms of hereditary hair loss usually appear in early adulthood. In men, this hair loss can manifest as a receding hairline or thinning of the crown. In women, this hair loss can appear as thinning of the entire scalp. There is no cure for hereditary hair loss. However, there are treatments that can help slow its progression and improve the appearance of the hair.
Shampoo als Wundermittel gegen Haarausfall?

Shampoo as a miracle cure for hair loss?

Hair loss is a condition that can affect people of all ages and backgrounds. While there are many treatments available for those who want to restore their hair, some may resort to questionable remedies. From herbal supplements to special shampoos, these so-called hair loss "cures" often have little to no scientific evidence to back up their claims of effectiveness. Some of these remedies can even be dangerous for your hair, as they contain ingredients that are not suitable for use on the scalp or face. Some ingredients can cause severe skin irritation and even infections during treatment, especially if not applied correctly. Similarly, some products that claim to reduce hair loss contain potentially toxic substances such as mercury or lead, which can harm your body if used in excess. Shampoo & Hair Loss Shampoo and hair loss are two topics that are often discussed together, but is there really a direct connection between them? What impact does shampoo really have on hair? Many people fear that using too much shampoo or the wrong type of shampoo can cause hair loss, while others believe it has no effect at all. To understand the relationship between these two topics, we must first examine what causes hair loss in general. Hair loss can be caused by a variety of factors such as genetics, hormones, stress, age, and even poor nutrition. If any of these factors play a significant role in your life, it is possible that you are experiencing some degree of hair loss. However, when it comes to shampoo specifically, there is not much evidence to suggest that it is directly involved in causing hair loss or thinning hair. Different Types of Hair Loss Hair loss affects both men and women, although it is more common in men than in women. Hair loss can range from mild thinning of the hair to complete baldness. There are many different types of hair loss, all of which are due to damage to the hair roots. The most common type of hair loss is androgenetic alopecia, which is responsible for hair loss in men and women. With this type of hair loss, hormones cause sensitivity at the hair root, leading to a decrease in growth and ultimately hair loss. Another form is alopecia areata, where patches on the scalp become completely free of hair as a result of an autoimmune disease that attacks healthy hair follicles. Hereditary hair loss can also be a major problem for some. Benefits of Shampooing Shampooing is something many of us do daily or weekly. It's an important part of our hair care routine, as it helps our hair look and feel good. What are the benefits of shampooing for your hair, you might ask? First, shampoo helps remove dirt and excess oils from the scalp and hair strands (oily hair), leaving them fresh and clean. This can be particularly beneficial if you have an oily scalp or work in polluted environments. Second, regular shampooing promotes healthy hair growth by removing dirt or debris that could block follicle growth. Finally, certain shampoos contain ingredients such as vitamins that can help nourish your scalp, keep it hydrated, and make it shiny. Ingredients & Research Hair loss is a common problem that many people struggle with, and many are looking for natural solutions to address the issue. The good news is that research has shown that there are several ingredients that can help with hair loss. Ingredient-based shampoos are becoming increasingly popular, as they allow consumers to harness the therapeutic properties of natural herbs and oils without applying harsh chemicals to their scalp. Natural ingredients such as Eclipta prostrata, Nigella sativa, and caffeine have been studied for hair growth, making them a great choice when selecting a shampoo to combat hair loss. Caffeine, in particular, can prevent hair loss and is a great ingredient for shampoos. Other ingredients such as saw palmetto extract and pumpkin seed oil can also be beneficial as they block DHT production – the hormone responsible for male pattern hair loss. Proper Hair Care is Key In general, hair care is essential, with products that support hair growth. Regular, but not too frequent, hair washing combined with proper care can help support hair growth, relieve stressed hair, and promote healthy hair. [HAIR LOSS SERUM] I hope you enjoyed the article. First, you should start by rinsing your beard with warm water for a few minutes. This process helps to loosen any dirt or foreign particles that have accumulated in your facial hair. Next, you should apply a beard shampoo specifically designed for beards and gently massage it into your beard hair in circular motions. Afterwards, you should thoroughly rinse your beard hair with warm water until all traces of shampoo are gone. Finally, you can thoroughly rinse your beard with cold water to close the pores and give it a shiny finish. Small tip: You don't necessarily have to wash your beard daily for care. This can make it greasy faster and look brittle. Once or twice a week is perfect for your beard hair and your skin. How do I choose the right shampoo for my beard? Choosing the right shampoo is an important decision for optimal care. With the numerous varieties on the market, it can be difficult to know which is best for your facial hair. To ensure you're using the right shampoo for your beard care routine, several factors need to be considered. When selecting for your beard, consider what type of facial hair you have – this can range from thick, coarse curls to thin, straight strands. You should also consider how often you want to clean your beard hair – some shampoos are designed for daily use, while others are better suited for washing once or twice a week. It's also important to check if the product has natural ingredients and does not contain harsh chemicals, as these can strip moisture and lead to irritation or dryness of the underlying skin. Trimming: How do I trim my beard? An important part of beard care is trimming the beard hair. When it comes to beard care, you should regularly trim your beard and incorporate trimming into your beard care routine. The process can be divided into five points: Preparation: Before you start trimming, you should thoroughly wash your beard hair and blow-dry it. This makes the hair easier to comb and trim. It is best to use a special beard shampoo and a beard balm to keep your beard supple and well-groomed and to protect the skin. Combing: Use a wide-tooth comb to comb and detangle your beard. Make sure to comb all hairs from root to tip to avoid knots. Trimming: Use good beard scissors and hair clippers to shape your beard hair. Start at the bottom and slowly work your way up. Don't forget to trim the sides and neck area as well, and be careful not to injure yourself while shaving. This can happen quickly, and skin injuries can be very uncomfortable to slightly painful. Finishing Touches: Use precision scissors to work on smaller areas and curves. This helps to keep your beard neat and symmetrical. Care: After shaving, it is important to care for your beard hair to keep it healthy and shiny. Use a beard oil or balm to nourish and care for your beard. Styling: Options & Tips Beards & Styling Beards are one of the hottest trends in men's grooming. Whether it's a short stubble (three-day beard), a full lumberjack look, or something in between, there's no denying that facial hair can be a great way to enhance your appearance and give you an attractive edge. With proper beard care, shaving, and correct styling techniques, you can transform even the simplest beard into something truly impressive. When it comes to styling beards, the key is to find one that suits your face shape and complements your features. It's important to always keep your beard clean and well-trimmed – not too long or too short – as this provides definition and ensures that all your natural beauty shines through. Otherwise, using high-quality products like beard oil or balm can help to nourish and care for the hair to achieve a healthier-looking finish. Different Beard Styles Beards have become a popular style choice for many men in recent years. Beards not only offer men a great way to express themselves and their individual style, but they are also stylable in various shapes, sizes, and styles. From the classic full beard to the modern Van Dyke or Balbo look, there are many different beard styles, with something for every taste. The full beard is the most common type of facial hair and creates a classic look that has been popular with men for centuries. It usually consists of connected sideburns, mustache, and chin hair that remain slightly longer than the rest of the face. A variation of this style is an extended goatee, which includes a chinstrap attached to each corner of the mouth. Face Shape Considerations Beards are a popular facial accessory for men, and when it comes to growing facial hair, face shape should be considered. Knowing what type of beard suits you best can help you decide on the right style. Face shapes are typically categorized into four: oval, round, square, and triangular. If you have an oval face shape, this is considered ideal for most beard styles. Round faces should opt for longer styles that help to add length to the face, such as a goatee or a Van Dyke, which consists of a combination of mustache and soul patch. Men with square faces should consider stubble or short box beards, as these can soften sharp angles in the jawline; while those with triangular face shapes should choose full beards that balance both sides of the chin line. Necessary Gadgets and Products Beards are no longer considered unkempt or uncultivated. In fact, they have become a fashionable and stylish choice for men of all ages. However, maintaining the perfect beard requires more than just a visit to the barber – you also need to invest in the necessary tools and products to keep your facial hair looking healthy and well-groomed. [BEARD CARE GADGETS] From electric trimmers to special balms, there are a variety of products on the market that can help keep your beard looking its best. With an electric trimmer with adjustable settings, you can precisely shape and style your facial hair for any desired look. Similarly, investing in a good moisturizing conditioner helps keep your beard hydrated and manageable while protecting against split ends. Tips for Styling & Care Beards are a great way to express yourself and add a little style to your look. With the right care and styling, you can keep your beard looking healthy and well-groomed. Here again are the most important beard care tips summarized on how to care for and style your beard for maximum impact: First, it's important to make sure you take good care of your beard by washing it regularly with a mild beard shampoo and moisturizing it with a light conditioner. To keep it neat, use scissors or a trimmer to trim the edges of your beard every few weeks. This will ensure that all hairs grow evenly, while avoiding split ends or flyaways. To grow your beard, use a beard serum, for example. When it comes to styling, there are many options, ranging from classic looks like a full beard or goatee to trendy styles like sideburns or undercuts.

Sudden Hair Loss During Menopause: All the important information summarized for you!

Are you, like many women, suffering from hair loss during menopause? This is usually due to fluctuating and changing hormone levels in a woman's body. In particular, a decrease in a woman's estrogen levels can influence hair loss. In the following article, I would like to give you an overview of hair loss during menopause. We will also look at how you can deal with hair loss during menopause. Finally, I will give you a few tips on how to better manage hair loss. Why do women lose their hair during menopause? The cause of hair loss during menopause is clear. Women predominantly lose hair during menopause due to a decrease in estrogen levels. Estrogens normally promote hair growth. When estrogen levels drop, hair growth can be inhibited, which can lead to thinner hair. In addition, testosterone levels (a hormone that is predominantly found in higher concentrations in men) may increase in women during menopause. This can also lead to hair loss. Various hormones, in particular, affect hair loss. In addition to the decrease in estrogen levels and the increase in testosterone, other factors can promote hair loss. These include genetic predisposition, certain medications, smoking and alcohol consumption, as well as certain diseases such as thyroid disorders or autoimmune diseases. In practice, there are many different types of hair loss that are not always due to the onset of menopause. In other articles, I have already explained the following types of hair loss: hereditary hair loss, diffuse hair loss, hair loss after pregnancy, and circular hair loss. Perhaps you are also interested in one of the other topics or are affected by one of these types of hair loss yourself. What can you do as an affected woman? 4 tips for natural support You're probably wondering now: What can I, as an affected woman, do to prevent hair loss? There are some things you can do to minimize hair loss during menopause. These include: Pay attention to your diet: A healthy diet with sufficient nutrients such as iron and vitamins can counteract hair loss. Reduce your stress: Stress can affect your hormone balance. So make sure to avoid stress to prevent possible hair loss. Wash your hair regularly: Wash your hair regularly with gentle, non-irritating hair products to protect yourself from hair loss. Support your hair with hair growth products: Hair growth products or a medical treatment with various active ingredients can promote hair growth. I would like to elaborate on point 1 again: Pay attention to your diet. As mentioned before, a balanced and nutrient-rich diet can help minimize hair loss during menopause. Here are some nutrients that are important for healthy hair growth: Iron: An iron deficiency can lead to hair loss. Iron is important for the production of hemoglobin, a protein that transports oxygen in the body. If your body doesn't have enough iron, it can lead to a lack of oxygen in the cells, which in turn impairs growth. Iron-rich foods include beef, chicken, fish, beans, lentils, green leafy vegetables, and dried fruits. Vitamin D: Vitamin D plays an important role in regulating hair follicles, hair roots, and hair growth. A study has shown that women with hair loss during menopause often have low vitamin D levels. Vitamin D-rich foods include fatty fish, eggs, and mushrooms. Vitamin D can also be produced in the body through sunlight synthesis. B vitamins: B vitamins such as biotin, niacin, and folic acid are important for hair health. Biotin, also known as vitamin H, is particularly important for strengthening hair. It is found in foods such as eggs, avocados, nuts, and seeds. Niacin, also known as vitamin B3, improves circulation and promotes nutrient supply to hair follicles and hair roots. Folic acid, also known as vitamin B9, is important for cell division and growth and can be obtained from green leafy vegetables, legumes, and whole grain products. Protein: Hair consists of keratin, a protein. A protein-rich diet can help your body produce enough keratin to promote hair growth. Good sources of protein include meat, fish, eggs, dairy products, legumes, and nuts. [HAIR LOSS SERUM] Important to note: Hair loss during menopause is normal and does not cause serious health problems. You should be aware that hair loss during menopause is a normal part of the aging process and it is important to accept this and not worry unnecessarily. However, if hair loss is accompanied by other symptoms such as itching, dandruff, or rash, I recommend consulting a doctor to rule out any underlying medical conditions. Furthermore, there are various treatment options for hair loss during menopause. For example, treatment by a doctor is conceivable. Furthermore, herbal or alternative therapies such as acupuncture or aromatherapy can also help to reduce hair loss. Acupuncture as a remedy for hair loss Acupuncture is an alternative therapy that can be used for hair loss during menopause. Acupuncture is based on the idea that there are energy channels in the body that can be influenced by needling at specific points. The aim is to balance the body's energy and release blockages to promote health. For hair loss, acupuncture can also help by improving blood circulation to the scalp and supporting the function of hair follicles and hair roots. This can stimulate hair growth. The needles are placed at specific points on the scalp and body, depending on the individual condition and symptoms. Aromatherapy as a remedy for hair loss Aromatherapy is an alternative therapy that uses essential oils to treat various physical and emotional complaints. Some essential oils can help treat hair loss that occurs during menopause. Some of the essential oils that can be used for hair loss during menopause are rosemary oil, lavender oil, and cedarwood oil. These oils can stimulate hair growth by improving blood circulation to the scalp and stimulating hair follicles and hair roots. In addition, they also have antimicrobial properties that can help reduce dandruff and other scalp problems. One way to use essential oils to treat hair loss during menopause is to add a few drops of the oil to a base oil mixture, such as jojoba oil or almond oil. This mixture can then be applied to the scalp and gently massaged in. Another option is to add a few drops of the oil to your shampoo or conditioner. However, it is important to note that essential oils can potentially cause allergic reactions on the scalp and are not suitable for everyone. How long does hair loss last? Now that we have discussed the causes and I have given you some tips, I would like to clarify the question of how long hair loss can actually last. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you exactly how long such hair loss can last in general terms. It varies from woman to woman. But what I can tell you is that it is usually temporary during menopause and can stabilize after menopause. Here you will find general information on hair loss in women. Here's another special tip from me for you If you've read this far, I have another secret tip for you. Maybe two. To counteract hair loss, I recommend two products. The FullHair Hair Capsules and the FullHair Hair Serum from Dr. Massing Cosmetics. Together, the products can work wonders. While the capsules support your hair from the inside, the serum helps stimulate hair growth externally on the scalp. I hope you enjoyed the article and I could help you. If you have any further questions, please leave a comment. Best regards, your Pia 💕
Anti Aging Ernährung: welche Lebensmittel helfen dir jung auszusehen?

Anti-Aging Diet: What foods keep your skin young?

A youthful, fresh appearance: There are many healthy things you can do for your body to slow down skin aging, which is a natural process but can be sped up or slowed down by certain influences. Sun exposure, in particular, contributes negatively to premature skin aging. Harmful UV rays can accelerate collagen breakdown and generate free radicals. How healthy is your diet? Free radicals are incomplete molecules that damage other molecules, impairing their function. Our bodies can neutralize them – but for this, they need sufficient antioxidants that can fight these free radicals in the body. Environmental factors and an unhealthy diet can also introduce more free radicals into our bodies, thereby accelerating skin aging. Therefore, a healthy diet aimed at slowing down the aging process and promoting overall health is essential for young and healthy skin. So, which foods prevent wrinkles? You'll find out here what the right, healthy diet with the best anti-aging foods is. What foods boost cell renewal? The best anti-aging foods summarized for you Antioxidants Antioxidants against free radicals are essential in your diet. These anti-aging foods are rich in antioxidants: Berries: Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries are excellent sources of antioxidants. They contain a variety of antioxidant compounds like anthocyanins, vitamin C, and vitamin E. Green leafy vegetables: Spinach, kale, chard, and arugula have a high content of vitamin C, as well as vitamin E, beta-carotene, and many antioxidants. Nuts and seeds: Walnuts, almonds, and hazelnuts, as well as seeds like chia seeds and flaxseeds, contain antioxidant compounds like vitamin E, selenium, and various phytochemicals. Dark chocolate: Chocolate can also be healthy! This food contains flavonoids, which are powerful antioxidants. For the healthy effect, make sure to choose dark chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%. Spices: Turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and oregano have antioxidant properties. They can be used as healthy flavor enhancers in dishes and simultaneously offer antioxidant benefits. Green tea: Contains catechins, known as strong antioxidants. Regular consumption of green tea can help protect the body from oxidative stress. Colorful fruits and vegetables: Vegetables and fruits like tomatoes, bell peppers, oranges, and grapes contain a variety of antioxidants such as vitamin C, beta-carotene, and lycopene. Omega-3 fatty acids Omega-3 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties and support heart, brain, and skin health. These anti-aging foods have a high content of these fatty acids: Fatty fish: Salmon, mackerel, sardines, herring, and tuna are excellent sources of omega-3 fatty acids. These fish species contain high amounts of omega-3 EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). Flaxseeds: Flaxseeds and flaxseed oil are rich in alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a plant-based omega-3 fatty acid. Chia seeds: Chia seeds are another plant-based source of omega-3 fatty acids. They contain both ALA as well as fiber and other nutrients. Walnuts: Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, especially ALA. They are a good option for people who do not consume fish products. Soybeans: Soybeans and soy products like tofu and soy milk contain omega-3 fatty acids, especially ALA. Hemp seeds: Hemp seeds and hemp oil are also a source of omega-3 fatty acids. They contain both ALA and omega-6 fatty acids. Although a good anti-aging diet can do a lot for you and a healthy diet is important anyway, that's not all. There are more tips you can pay attention to besides healthy anti-aging foods. Adequate fluid intake Good hydration is important to maintain skin moisture and rid the body of toxins. My tip for beautiful skin is therefore: drink enough water daily and limit alcoholic and sugary drinks.  Balanced diet  A healthy diet, which is rich not only in fruits and vegetables but also in whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats, provides the skin with the necessary nutrients for optimal health and can slow down the aging process. Phytonutrients Phytonutrients are bioactive compounds in plants that can have anti-inflammatory properties and protect against oxidative stress. They are found in various fruits and vegetables and contribute to cell health and protection, thus having an excellent anti-aging effect. Anti-Aging Lifestyle Anti-aging nutrition and the right foods, however, are only one part of a healthy lifestyle. It's not just about food! Regular physical activity, sufficient sleep, stress management, and avoiding smoking are also important factors for healthy aging and preventing cardiovascular diseases. And a secret tip: you can greatly support your skin by drinking collagen drinks. [BEAUTYDRINK] The Secret Weapon of Anti-Aging – A Drink Against Wrinkles? Christmas Gift Ideas: Moments that Come from the Heart

Christmas is a time when we long for warmth, relaxation, and a moment to breathe. Amidst the chaos of gifts, twinkling lights, and to-do lists, there's often not enough room for what truly matters: doing something good for yourself and your loved ones. That's why the special gifts are the ones that genuinely do good. For your best friend, your mother, your partner, or simply for yourself: skincare as a Christmas gift is always on trend every year. It reminds us of something that is often missing in everyday life, and especially in December: time for oneself. Why Skincare Products Make Such Special Christmas Gifts If you're looking for special ideas for Christmas because you want to give your loved ones the perfect gift, then I have several practical and suitable gift ideas for you! A high-quality skincare product is more than just a pretty bottle under the tree. It's an invitation to give yourself attention. Especially in winter, when dry heating air and cold days leave their mark, skincare becomes a true wellness ritual. The best thing about this idea: such gifts last longer than three holidays. They accompany you through the winter, give skin and hair new energy, and remind people every morning that someone thought of them. I want to simplify your search, which is why I've compiled a selection of high-quality, nourishing products that are suitable as Christmas gifts for both women and men. Moisture and Glow for Winter-Stressed Skin If your skin feels tight or looks dull in winter, moisture and protection are the perfect gifts. Gentle night creams, luxurious serums with hyaluronic acid, or deeply effective day care can revitalize and refresh the complexion. Especially in the cold season, when the skin around the eyes is more sensitive, care with gentle, nourishing ingredients is worthwhile. If you want to pamper your loved ones for Christmas, you can put together a small skincare routine for cold days – for example, with a serum that deeply moisturizes, a delicate day cream, or a rich night cream. This creates a moment of slowing down: a few minutes in the evening to do something good for yourself. Radiant Eyes for Christmas Products that enhance the natural beauty of the eyes are ideal as romantic Christmas gifts. A good lash or eyebrow serum can be a small highlight: discreet, elegant, effective. Do you know someone who wishes for longer lashes or denser brows? This is your quiet but effective gift. Small Gesture for Advent It doesn't always have to be something big. As an addition to a larger gift, as an extra in an Advent calendar, or as a small gesture, trial boxes like the Best Selection Ampoules are great for gifting. They bring the feeling of an exclusive spa moment home. These are gifts without much effort, but with a visible effect. Gifts for Girlfriend or Partner It can be complicated to find the right selection for someone so close to your heart. Skincare products might not seem particularly romantic at first, but remember: you're giving your girlfriend a moment of self-care, a piece of mindfulness for her everyday life. This is where things she might not buy herself, but could really use, are particularly worthwhile. The limited Luxury Lift gift box can be the perfect gesture here. In addition to the luxurious eye cream, it also includes a high-quality beauty bag made of vegan PU leather. Gifts for Men: Skincare for Him Are you looking for perfect gift ideas for men but drawing a blank? Gifts for men are often difficult to find. But gifts for men can be the perfect sign that you're thinking of them! Whether it's for your boyfriend, your brother, or your father: products for hair and beard are wonderful Christmas gifts for men. The Hair Growth Set from Dr. Massing makes beards softer and stimulates dense beard growth. More and more men are paying attention to healthy skin and strong hair. A high-quality hand cream, a mild cleansing gel, or a nourishing serum for beard or scalp invite shared care rituals. They create closeness and moments that are often missed in everyday life. Thus, gift ideas for men become an opportunity to build shared rituals. Small Gestures with Big Impact Not every gift has to be grand to make an impact. Lip balm, eye pads, or small travel sizes fit perfectly into Christmas stockings or Secret Santa packages. Such gifts bring joy because they are used again and again in everyday life. They are practical, lovingly chosen, and show: even the small things were thought of. Gifts for Girlfriends or Mothers A set of hydrating serum and night cream is perfect for winter skincare. A luxurious shampoo also makes a lovely gift for a girlfriend, boyfriend, or mom. Gifts for Partners or Brothers Christmas gifts for men don't have to be boring: gentle care for beard, hair, or face is a subtle and uncomplicated idea for Christmas. Gifts for Acquaintances Ideas for acquaintances, whom you might not know as well as family and friends, can sometimes rack your brain at Christmas. Small beauty goodies that brighten up any desk or fit into a handbag are a wonderful gesture for this occasion. Gifts for Yourself A serum that accompanies you through the cold months and provides a bit of self-care every day. Give yourself some self-love during the cold season. Why is this important? Self-Care for Christmas Between all the wish lists and gift ideas for others, one person is quickly forgotten: yourself. Yet, it's precisely the small rituals that are just for you that are often the most valuable. A new serum, a rich day cream or a selection of gentle, effective beauty ampoules are not "selfish" gifts, but a conscious sign: I matter. When you treat yourself to a skincare product that suits your skin needs for Christmas, you're not just giving yourself smoother, better-cared-for skin, but also a few minutes each day just for you: in the bathroom in the morning, before bed in the evening. It's precisely these self-care moments that make the dark season a little brighter. Christmas Gift Ideas Christmas gifts don't have to be loud to make an impact. Sometimes a small product that genuinely excites is enough – because it's practical, because it smells good, because it feels good. Hopefully, my selection has helped you in your search for special Christmas gifts. And perhaps the most beautiful gift is the awareness of giving yourself and your loved ones time, care, and attention. Our Christmas Gift to You With the code FROHEWEIHNACHTEN, you'll receive a full 15% discount on the entire Dr. Massing range from December 8th to 17th, 2025. Hormone und hormonelle Stoffe in Kosmetika – Was steckt wirklich drin?

Hormones and Hormonal Substances in Cosmetics – What's Really in Them?

Cosmetic products come into direct contact with our skin, so it's essential that they offer the highest quality and safety. In recent years, more and more people have become concerned about the possibility of harmful ingredients in cosmetics. It is therefore advisable to know the components of the products we use daily. The fear of hormonally active substances is particularly high in the cosmetics industry. What exactly does it mean for application if cosmetic products were to contain hormonal active ingredients, and how much truth is there behind the concern? Products that come into contact with human skin must be harmless to health. This means that all types of cosmetics have assured quality through careful safety assessments by manufacturers and scientifically sound testing. Hormonally Active Substances in Cosmetics In the cosmetics industry, there are growing fears about hormonally active substances that may have negative health effects. But what does it really mean if cosmetic products contain such substances, and how much of it is actually justified? The Term "Hormone" A hormone is a messenger substance that enters our bloodstream as an endogenous active ingredient. They reach specific cells in various organs and trigger reactions or regulatory processes there, particularly concerning metabolism. They are thus important signaling substances for many bodily functions. However, no genuine hormones may be used in cosmetics – this is strictly regulated by the EU Cosmetics Regulation. When "hormones" are mentioned, one often means so-called endocrine disruptors. These chemical substances can influence our body's endocrine system and thereby alter biological processes. Endocrine Disruptors: What Are They? This term refers to chemical substances that can affect our body's endocrine system. They can control the production, release, or mode of action of hormones and thus alter normal biological processes in the body. The research situation here is not yet conclusive, and there is a lack of meaningful studies proving the harmfulness of such hormonally active substances. As a member of the EU, Germany is also obliged to adhere to the international guidelines of the EU, which regulate all products very precisely and strictly – for the safety of all consumers. In Germany, "hormone cocktails" cannot simply be sold, whether in shampoos, make-up, or sunscreens. Everything that comes into contact with our skin is subject to EU guidelines. Preservatives in Cosmetics Preservatives are necessary to ensure the shelf life of cosmetic products, even in natural cosmetics. Some substances, such as parabens, are suspected of being hormonally active. Our Dr. Massing products, however, contain only carefully selected, natural ingredients that contain no harmful chemicals, parabens, or silicones – only the best for your skin. Good to know: Our Dr. Massing products contain only carefully selected and natural ingredients that we stand behind. You will find no harmful, aggressive chemicals, parabens, silicones, or mineral oils in our products – only the best for you. Dr. Massing: Quality from the EU All Dr. Massing cosmetic products are developed in Germany and Austria and are subject to strict quality standards. Our products must meet specific requirements, such as adherence to hygiene standards, the use of safe ingredients, and the performance of quality tests. This way, we can ensure the best possible efficacy and tolerability – with an extra helping of love and care.In addition, our formulas are based on scientific studies and offer the highest efficacy and excellent tolerability. The Safety of Cosmetics You don't need to worry, because within the EU, it is not permitted to use hormones in cosmetic products. What headlines refer to as hormones are endocrine disruptors. Scientific research into the impact of endocrine disruptors is not complete, so studies in this field currently provide only limited information on their efficacy.  Hormones in Cosmetics Realistic Cosmetic Check: Skincare and cosmetic products are subject to German and thus European controls and guidelines, ensuring they are safe for consumers. Some use preservatives that are currently suspected of influencing the body's hormonal processes – parabens are one such preservative. Our products are free from parabens or other aggressive chemicals. We stand completely behind our products and want the best for your skin and body – because Dr. Erik Massing is a passionate biologist and creates the formulas for all our products based on scientific studies and sources. This way, we can be sure that our products contain only what is good for your body.

Light Therapy

Light Therapy – Effects and Application

Acne, hyperpigmentation, and even skin conditions like psoriasis can be made to disappear with LED light, bringing a tired and dull complexion to life, or reducing wrinkles? It all sounds almost too good to be true, which is why we're delving into the topic of "Light Therapy" in skincare here. How effective are the gadgets available for home use, and is a visit to the beauty salon for a light therapy treatment worthwhile? What are LED masks and what effects do they have? The appearance of the masks strongly resembles Halloween masks, and I had to get used to the sight first. Unlike those, there are around 100 LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) on the inside, which are supposed to ensure healthy skin with regular use. The energy released triggers an electrical voltage signal, which can have very positive effects. Good to know: Both devices suitable for home use and those used in beauty salons are LED light devices. So, there's no UV light involved or anything that inherently harms the skin. But does it benefit your skin at all? The answer is yes, because the LED radiation penetrates up to 10 mm deep into the skin layers, stimulating cell renewal there, all without damage, as would be the case with UV radiation. Different colors have different wavelengths and thus penetrate the skin to varying depths. The effect of red and blue light in LED masks has been scientifically proven. In addition, there is green, yellow, pink, and white light, although the effectiveness of therapy in these colors is not fully confirmed. Light therapy with different colors Red light (approx. 550-660 nanometers) Red light penetrates particularly deep into the skin and stimulates both cell renewal and collagen production. Collagen is a structural protein that makes skin and connective tissue elastic. Wrinkles and the formation of new ones are reduced, and the face appears firmer and more youthful. Furthermore, it is said to inhibit inflammation and stimulate blood circulation, microcirculation, and repair mechanisms in skin cells. So, it ensures beautiful skin and is also a popular anti-aging tool. Blue light (approx. 400-450 nanometers) Treatment with blue light, on the other hand, is an absolute tip for acne and other skin impurities, as it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. In addition to regulating sebum production, oxygen production is stimulated, which in turn makes your skin appear fresher and more vibrant. Pimples, blackheads, and oily skin are thus combated. It is also assumed that blue LED light influences hormone balance and can thus counteract winter depression or sleep disorders. However, since one primarily hears negative things about blue LED light again and again (keyword 'digital aging'), the question arises as to how healthy this can be in the long run. This mainly concerns the blue light from smartphone displays and computer screens, which has been proven to lead to retinal damage in the long run and can thus result in reduced visual acuity. However, the light from light therapy devices has a completely different wavelength than our smartphone displays and therefore does not cause this damage. Green light (approx. 525 nanometers) Green light, which stimulates lymphatic flow, can alleviate hyperpigmentation, acne marks, and discolorations. It is believed that green light affects melanocytes (pigment cells in the outermost skin layer) and thus inhibits the formation of excess melanin. As a result, the pigments do not settle on the skin surface, and the radiation can even break down existing melanin and slowly reduce discolorations. Here too, light is not only used in dermatology: green LED light is said to have a calming effect that helps combat migraines and headaches. Application of light therapy with LED masks For the treatment with LED facial masks to work properly, you should consider a few things beforehand. If you have purchased an LED mask for home use and want to incorporate light therapy into your beauty routine, the first step is to thoroughly cleanse your face. Before turning on the light, your face should be clean and dry. Optionally, you can also apply skincare, such as the hyaluronic serum HYALOVE. This allows the serum to penetrate deeper into the skin. Concerns about possible side effects are unfounded, as the wavelengths are low. Although most masks already have cutouts around the eyes, you can wear an eye mask for additional protection and keep your eyes closed during treatment. Light therapy is not recommended during pregnancy or when taking medication that leads to increased photosensitivity of the skin, as it can be harmful in these cases. If you are unsure, you should consult a dermatologist before LED light therapy or consider professional therapy in a dermatological practice or a specialized beauty salon. There, doctors and assistants are familiar with the procedure, and application errors can be avoided. Conclusion Sounds like magic? It's not, and especially regular use in a beauty salon certainly leads to visible results. Home use devices don't have to be bad at all, but they are usually not as strong, which is why a visit to a professional might be worthwhile here. If you want to get a device for home use, you should definitely inform yourself beforehand, because the prices vary extremely here. Ultimately, LED light devices are definitely cool beauty gadgets whose effectiveness has been proven and which can soon provide you with clear and firm skin.

How to: How do I integrate hyaluronic acid into my beauty routine?

We've told you many times that our Hyalove Hyaluronic Serum is an absolute moisture booster. We are convinced: Everyone should integrate hyaluronic acid into their beauty routine, as it is a must-have in every bathroom cabinet. Here you can find out what other options there are besides the classic serum step and how you can save time or generally optimize your make-up and skincare routine. But first, a brief digression on hyaluronic acid and hyaluronic serum itself. What does hyaluronic acid do for your skin? Hardly anyone has never heard the term hyaluronic serum or hyaluronic acid. The word constantly appears in numerous beauty advertisements and seems to work wonders. But does it really deliver what it promises, or is it just a marketing strategy? The answer is: Yes, hyaluronic acid does have an effect, and with regular use, initial results are visible after a short time. The effects attributed to the serum include: firm and plump skin combating acne and skin blemishes anti-aging effect reduction of wrinkles intense moisturization A great advantage of hyaluronic acid is that it occurs naturally in our skin and throughout the body, and therefore agrees with every skin type. In connective tissue or as joint fluid, the acid binds and stores water. This regulates the water balance and makes the skin more elastic and firm. It's clear that hyaluronic serum is made from this to complete the skincare routine. With increasing age, the hyaluronic acid content in the body decreases due to declining hyaluronic production, which is evident in the joints as well as in the facial skin. To counteract or slow down this process, more and more women, as well as men, use hyaluronic serums for external application or take the active ingredient orally in liquid form (beauty drink) or solid form (hyaluronic acid capsules). Different modes of action of the acid The body's own substance hyaluron, also called hyaluronan, comes in various forms: on the one hand, high-molecular/long-chain hyaluron, but also low-molecular/short-chain. And that's precisely the most important thing about hyaluronic serum: make sure that as many hyaluronic acid chains as possible are present in your product. Otherwise, the desired effect will not occur. I'll explain why that is now. High-molecular hyaluronic acid has a high molecular weight because the chain of molecules is longer. These long molecular chains lie on your skin and form a fine protective film, prevent moisture from escaping thanks to the immediate effect, and also have an anti-inflammatory effect. Since this layer can be easily washed off, no long-term effects are produced. If you want long-term results, you should also rely on other hyaluronic acids. Low-molecular hyaluronic acid, on the other hand, penetrates particularly deep into the skin due to its low molecular weight and supports the storage of moisture in the connective tissue. Long-term effects are visible, as a reduction in small wrinkles is triggered, and thus clear anti-aging becomes apparent. [HYALURONSERUM] Our Hyalove Hyaluronic Serum contains 6 short-, medium- and long-chain hyaluronic acids that benefit you. It deliberately contains all hyaluronic acid chains so that you can achieve the best results. For dry skin, Hyalove provides a freshness boost, for blemished skin it improves due to its antibacterial effect, and for mature skin it is also suitable as it gives the skin more tension and firmness. Compared to other hyaluronic serums, Hyalove is vegan, well-tolerated, and produced with an improved formula that ideally nourishes your skin.

Skin Type vs. Skin Need

What's your skin type? The right skincare depends precisely on that – oily, dry, normal, or combination skin; you've probably heard all these different terms before. Ideally, you know what your skin type is, because that's how you tailor your individual skincare. What products are best suited for your individual skin needs? What fits your skin optimally? In the following, you'll find all the answers regarding skin, skin type, and skin needs. The 4 Skin Types First, let's cover the basics: There are essentially 5 different skin types, namely dry skin, oily skin, combination skin (oily in the T-zone and dry on the cheeks), and, of course, normal skin. Your specific skin type is usually fixed over a longer period, meaning it doesn't necessarily change seasonally or depending on the products you use. However, you can certainly improve or worsen its appearance with products if you use the wrong ones for your skin type. Skin type can also change over the course of a lifetime, for example, transitioning from combination skin in teenage years to dry skin in adulthood. Pregnancies, menopause, or medications, etc., can also play a role here. This is because sensitive skin can also be prone to irritation, pimples, acne, or excessive sebum production. What are the different skin types? Dry Skin Oily Skin Combination Skin Normal Skin The Difference from Skin Needs In contrast to this is the so-called skin need, because even oily skin can, for example, be dehydrated. Just because the skin produces more than enough oil doesn't mean it doesn't also need to be adequately moisturized. Can your skin type just change? This particular skin need often changes seasonally, as most of us need more moisture in winter than in summer. Even normal skin can feel dry in the cold season without you having a dry skin type directly. It is essential for sensitive skin types to use suitable and targeted UV protection. You should not underestimate the sun; as nice as it can be to tan, it unfortunately happens quickly that you burn your skin and thus throw your care down the drain. As the name T-zone suggests, the T runs across the face, starting from the forehead down over the nose to the chin. Do you know what your skin type is? If you have combination skin, then you certainly know the T-zone, because it is precisely there that you quickly notice the shine due to the three regions forming the most glands in that area of the facial skin. Moisture Supply Of course, every skin type needs different care, and while products that mattify and remove excess oils are ideal for an oily skin type, they are not the best choice for a dry skin type or combination skin and can even worsen the skin condition. So, it's not unimportant to know your own skin type in order to use the right products. Dangerous UV radiation can also become a risk factor for all skin types if you don't protect or properly care for your skin. However, what every skin needs, regardless of skin type, is moisture. Whether dry, oily, both together, or neither – we all need moisture, and that's why a hyaluronic serum like Hyalove is truly suitable for every skin type. Even oily skin types absolutely do not need to worry here, because Hyalove is oil-free and moisturizes the skin down to the deepest layers without weighing it down. The same applies to sensitive skin, as Hyalove contains no perfume that could irritate the skin. So, can you change your skin type, for example, from "oily" to "normal" with the right products? The answer is yes and no, because that is truly completely individual. However, in most cases, you can optimally improve the external appearance of your skin with the right products. A good and regular skincare routine is therefore essential. Thus, you don't have to experience tightness with dry skin or walk around with oily skin with a shiny forehead.
